The day was full of excited energy when the bride and I arrived. We were so early that we had to wait in our cars for an additional 30 minutes until staff at the Garden Chapel got there to let us in. What can I say other than we were ready to start this magical day.
It was so fun documenting Lynda's wedding. She is by far one of the most silliest brides I have been able to get to know. She is full of so much personality and has a way of making the most awkward situations a fun memory. Not only is she hilarious, she is also an awesome mother to now 6 beautiful children. As silly and light hearted as Lynda was, she was still traditional in some ways on her wedding day. Like most traditional weddings, Lynda did not want Craig to see her in her wedding dress before the ceremony. This made it a little tricky as we only had 2 hours together! So we got creative and did part of the formals before the ceremony, Craig with the kids and his family, then made him go hide in the Garden Chapels Groom suite while Lynda came out to do formals with the kids and her family. It went pretty smoothly! At one point I saw Craig come around a corner while Lynda was about to come out of the Garden Chapels Bridal suite.... That got me a little nervous!
The wedding ceremony was beautiful. They couldn't have picked a better day. The lighting shined bright through The Garden Chapel's tall windows, and everyone had a happy smile on their face. All 6 kids made it down the aisle and stood up on the stage without an issue, even the smallest of them all was very well behaved. I remember thinking how lucky Craig and Lynda were to have such beautiful and helpful children that loved them dearly.
I let the kiddos have fun during the after ceremony formal photos. We got to make fun of mom and dad a little and made faces at them when they were acting romantic. I love The Garden Chapel's back yard and Gazebo. I believe we were able to capture some truly romantic and beautiful photos after the ceremony.
Lynda and Craig, thank you so much for letting me be part of your most important day. I am so happy that I was given this chance and cant wait to show you in person the rest of these beautiful photos. Have fun in Florida!
