FAQ

It costs how much???:

Every wedding has different needs, so its best you contact us with what your needs are for a price quote. Information we will need to know in order to give you an accurate quote is how much coverage you think you need (how many hours), destination of your wedding, any type of add-ons such as wedding albums or boudoir session, and if you are eligible for a military discount. We shoot every wedding with two photographers and also are now offering a videographer option. We like to schedule consultations in order to get a full understanding of what you want/need and to show you all the details of what we can do for you in person or through webcam for destination weddings. Our pricing starts at $1500.

I am ready to book, now what do I do?:

After you've decided to book us for your wedding photography, you will need to fill out a contract and pay your retainer fee ($500) to hold your wedding date. All of our contracts are done over the web and payment is made electronically. Retainers are non-refundable, so please be sure the date you are booking for is the guaranteed date of your wedding.

how soon in advance do I need to book?:

Most couples book approximately 9-12 months in advance. If you want a guarantee we are available for you on your wedding date, I recommend signing up at your earliest convenience.

What are the fees for travel?:

Again, this greatly depends on your wedding destination. Its best to contact us for an accurate estimate. Local weddings (30 miles radius of St. Louis) is included in your photography coverage. Beyond that there could be a millage and travel accommodations charge.

how fast can i expect to get my photos?:

Proofs are available for viewing approximately 4-8 weeks after the wedding. We may post a few images on our Blog, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, so be sure to have your friends and family subscribe to our social media.

how many pictures do i get and how do i get them?:

Because every wedding is different, there is not a guarantee on how many photos you will get. There are many things that account to the number of photos given such as: activities through out the day, the mood of the wedding and couple, the rules of the venue, the weather, and location of wedding. As a guideline, you can expect approx. 30-45 images per hour of service that you contract as a low estimate. Most weddings typically yield more photos.

Your final edited images are delivered in .jpg format at 8x12 300DPI. RAW files are not available for purchase and remain property of the studio. Reprint permissions are included with your wedding coverage. We retain the copyright. We do submit photos for online and print publications.

How does payment work?:

We offer 3 options. 1.) You can pay the full balance during your first consultation with us and receive a 20% discount. This cannot be combined with other discounts. 2.) You can pay installments throughout the year on a monthly basis. 3.) You can pay 30 days prior to your wedding date.

*With option 1 and 2, any payments made are non-refundable. Plans on payment arrangements must be paid on time or will accrue a $35 late fee charge per week payment is missed. There is no interest added on to an installment plan.

*With option 2 and 3, both plans still require your $500 non-refundable retainer to reserve the date.

We accept all major credit cards, debit payments, money orders, cashiers checks, and cash. We do not accept personal or business checks.

I love you but I just can't afford you!:

We are currently offering discounts for weddings in Colorado, California, New York, Chicago, and Louisiana. Please contact us with your venue and location of wedding to see if we are still available for your date. We try to remain budget friendly for most couples, but if you really want us and your budget is within reason, we may be able to work with you for a customized package.
